January in Minnesota is a strange, cold month. The days seem long and dreary but slip by so quickly it's rather astonishing. We've got more snow around us than I've ever seen in my 7 years of living here. I decided to start walking outside during my lunch break to maximize my sun time. I suppose it's not all that surprising just how much that can affect one's energy level.
There's a little area near my work where trees grow alongside the railroad tracks.
What are these guys? They look like little cherries but taste absolutely horrible. (kidding...)
I don't walk every day - but I should. Taking pictures of the beautiful winter imagery I would otherwise miss is a fantastic motivation. I can't wait to get on my bicycle again.
