Even with hoards of people around, Stonehenge was remarkably peaceful.
Spiritually moving...
historically intriguing...
And like candy for the amateur photographer.
We traveled from London to Bath strategically, booking a bus tour that covered Stonehenge and Bath but planning to remain in Bath upon arrival.
But the tour moved pretty quickly. Of all the places we visited, Stonehenge is definitely one place where I would like to have lingered a little longer.
